One Day Aikikai Ireland Technical Committee Course and Kyu Exams in Sligo on 6th December 2014
On Saturday 6th of December Sligo will host a one day Aikikai Ireland Technical Committee course with Kyu exams. Classes will be conducted by Joe McHugh 4th Dan Aikikai, Trevor Pigott 4th Dan Aikikai and Eamon Coyne 4th Dan Aikikai. The schedule will run as follows....

Michele Quaranta Sensei Aikikai Ireland Seminar in October 18th and 19th in Wicklow 2014
This will be the third course of 2014 that Aikikai Ireland will have the pleasure of having Technical Adviser Michele Quaranta Sensei. At the course there also will be Dan exams.
The course will be hosted by Ikeda Dojo Wicklow.

The Yudansha training offers the students the chance to deepen their knowledge and hone their skills.

Aikikai Ireland Technical Committe Members to give Aikido seminar in Sligo on Saturday June 28th 2014
On Saturday the 28th of June Aikikai Ireland Technical Committee members Joe McHugh 4th Dan Aikikai, Eamon Coyne 4th Dan Aikikai and Trevor Pigott 4th Dan Aikikai will give a one day seminar and kyu exams in Sligo Aikido Dojo, MCR Community Centre Mail Coach Road.
The course offers plenty of training for the participating students with 3 Aikido classes on the day, one taken by each Sensei. The course will also offer eligible students the oppurtunity to grade. One session in the morning for 6th, 5th and 4th Kyu and another in the afternoon for 3rd, 2nd and 1st Kyu.

Fiordineve Cozzi Sensei to return for seminar in Sligo on 21st and 22nd June 2014
Sligo Aikido Dojo are pleased top announce that Fiordineve Cozzi Sensei 6th Dan Aikikai will give a seminar on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of June. Classes will run from 11am - 2pm on both days in the MCR Community Hall, Mail Coach Road, Sligo.
We are also very pleased to say that Fiordineve Sensei will give a very special childrens classes in the Sligo Dojo on Friday 20th of June from 6.30pm - 7.30pm (5 to 9 years) and 7.30pm to 8.30pm (10 to 14 years).All of the kids in the class are looking forward to this very special session with Fiordineve whom is responsible for teaching the teachers of the kids classes in the Italian Aikikai organistion. Here's to another great weekend of Aikido and craíc.

Michele Quaranta Sensei in Bluestack Centre, Co.Donegal on June 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th 2014
Aikikai Ireland Technical Adviser Michele Quaranta Sensei will give the second of his three 2014 courses in The Bluestack Centre located in the stunning Bluestack Mountains, Co.Donegal from Friday 6th through to Monday 9th June. The course is spread over 4 days and students can look forward to a multitude being covered by Michele Sensei over the duration of the seminar.
Friday:
4.00pm - 5.30pm: Registration and room/bed allocation.
7.00pm - 9.00pm: Aikido
Saturday and Sunday:

How to get there:
From Donegal Town, take the N56 signposted for Ardara / Killybegs. At the first roundabout adjacent to the Statoil Service Station take the roundabout exit signposted for Letterbarrow / MillPark Hotel / Bluestack Centre.
Pass the Mill Park Hotel entrance on your right hand side and continue along the road for approximately 6.5Km (4 miles), following the white signs for Letterbarrow & the brown signs for Bluestack Centre.
You will arrive at a "T" junction, take a right at the junction, signposted for Bluestack Centre. Then cross a small stone bridge and immediately after the bridge take a left.
You will pass O'Neills pub on your left and a small housing estate on your right. The Bluestack Centre is the large stone building located on the right hand side, adjacent to Drimarone Chapel.

The residential training camp with Michele Quaranta Sensei will be held in the Bluestack Centre, County Donegal.

The first of the 2014 seminars with Aikikai Ireland Technical Adviser Michele Quaranta Sensei will take place in Athboy on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of March 2014.
Athboy Aikido Club will host the course, it's been a little while since we had a course in Athboy so everyone is looking forward to getting back up to train there.
